The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) is an Australian government initiative supporting individuals with disabilities. It provides funding for various services and support for people with special needs to improve their quality of life and promote independence.

Eligibility for the NDIS is based on age, residency, and disability criteria. It is generally available to individuals under 65, Australian citizens or permanent residents, and those with a permanent and significant disability that affects their functions.

To apply for the NDIS, visit their website and complete an access request.  You can also directly contact NDIS. You will be asked to provide documentation to prove your disability and how it impacts your life.
